The Choeung Ek Genocidal Center

Memorial Stupa houses the bones of the victims of Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge reign ( 1975 - 1979 ).

  1. Karl, visited Choeung Ek this week.I visited 9 years ago, what a change. Its a place when visiting Cambodia you need to go. !975-1979 were the years that Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge regime, used Choeung Ek for exercution and dumping grounds with mass graves for its victims. Toul Seng was used as a interrogaton facility.
